Charlotte Mason

Charlotte Maria Shaw Mason (1 January 1842–
16 January 1923) was a British educator and reformer from England at the turn of the 20th century. She proposed to base the education of children upon a wide and liberal curriculum.

The Charlotte Mason Method

The Charlotte Mason method is based on Charlotte Mason’s firm belief that the child is a person and we must educate the whole person but not just his mind. A Charlotte Mason education is three-pronged, in her words, “Education is an Atmosphere, a Discipline, a Life.”
